I could call this 'Road Riding' but I was so bagged that I really wasn't moving that quickly. One of those "I feel like I have a flat tire" kind of days. I rode out to orienteering then was going to go for a bit of a ride, but tacked on another 15-20km or so before I pulled the pin and headed home. Ended up having a pretty solid nap in the afternoon/evening. Beauty day out though!

I have always wanted to race on the Kanata Lakes o-map as I now have a better map of the bike trails out there. I discovered though how much trails must change as it was the first time that a bunch of trails were not on an o-map that I was racing on. I didn't do awesome, but I was pretty happy with how I did given my lack of ability to follow a bearing over the past 1.5 years.
Hehe, I geeked out and recorded the race on my GoPro and my phone's GPS as well. My lines seemed to be reasonably straight so I can't be THAT bad!
The field component of the "Learn to AR" clinic. Due to a huge group and a dearth of instructors, I had 7 people in my group. I think they all learned a lot so all was good! I wanted to bike up there, but as we were meeting at 8:00am in the far reaches of the park, leaving home at 6:30am on a Saturday morning just wasn't going to happen.
Finally did this as the "back injury" excuse has definitely worn off.

I did a new fun route and was surprised that this felt WAY better than usual. As usual, The first 20-30 minutes didn't feel so hot, but from 50-55 minutes to the end felt like I was taking it easy, but I was moving at a pretty good clip!
