Orienteering race (Nav Dash) 17:08 [5] 3.4 km (5:02 / km)

Today's run has left me knackered. After a week of feeling very sick I felt good today and ran as hard as I could, but it hurt. Made all the right route choices, overran a few controls but never by more than a few meters. Didn't use my HRM today but I'm guessing it would have stayed close to 100% for the whole run, I never really felt like I could have given more.
Pleased with the result although my lungs are wheezing tonight, I think they wanted a bit more rest.
I will miss the champs at Scotch College as I am doing the Urban Max, however I have enjoyed the series and hope to compete at a higher level next year. Well done to MTBjen and co for a great series.

Paddle out from Quinns beach up past the dog beach and back.
Very flat today, me and the water.
I no longer feel sick but I had no energy. Still a nice day to be out there.

It is no longer everyone but me feeling sick.
I'm taking a day off tomorrow. That will keep the death toll down Steve but the survivors will just complain more, I can't win.

Windtrainer 50:00 [3]

After a sleepless night with everyone but me feeling sick and throwing up it was wise not to go out for a 3 hour paddle with Stevej this morning. If I did the locks may have been changed when I got home.
Stayed home and helped Deb who needed some computer work done but wasn't feeling up to it, the girls had a quiet day watching movies but by the afternoon when everyone was resting I found some time to jump on the windtrainer. After 50mins I was sweating too much and decided to jump of the bike and go for a short run.......

Probably not ready to be running off the bike yet. Felt tired and drained from the start and never got any rhythm going. Lack of sleep may have had something to do with it but I didn't expect it to be so bad.
