Reasonably strenuous outing up Burnt Meadow Mountain in Brownfield ME. Very Rocky, particularly on the way up. We were finding the scramble up the pointy rocks pretty challenging, particularly Rhonda. Then we met a lady with an older dog and she was carrying the dog up the steepest sections. So that put it in a bit of perspective.

Lake like glass in the morning. One place we went Rhonda thought raindrops were hitting the water, but it was insects lighting and jumping up again. Saw some loons, one diving and one sitting on a dock.

Loop from the house, mostly on dirt roads. Only about half this ride required any pedaling, but the part that did was pretty tough. My partner with the electric assist did better on the uphills, but she doesn’t care for the downhills at all. The last mile and a half down Greeley Rd didn’t require a single pedal stroke, which was fine by me.
