Note
(rest day)

As exhausted as I was this weekend, I think its time for some rest.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3]

To and from the start/finish.
10 AM

Orienteering 40:00 [3]

Slalom course. I saw Ali a few times out there which is good considering she saw me too. Her being around screwed me up once leaving my number 10, but not more than a minute of error. The woods werent very nice in a few places so the going was slow.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Memory exercise, except I didnt do the memory part. I just ran the leg with the personal goal of never stopping to look at my map and instead get all the necessary information while running. I did a pretty good job, and only had to stop once or twice total. I stopped half way through because i just didn't have the energy to keep running. I think its due to my very small breakfast... anyways, I walked half way back until Ali caught me and reminded me that there was water back at the camp. That got me running again.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Sprint training with Ali. We gave 20-30 seconds between us so there was a lot of pressure, the first leg was a bit screwie a and screwedboth me and ali up. I was able to run the rest just fine and at a fast pace. I was definitely pushing myself physically. The second leg I started second so I was trying to catch Ali the whole time, although I was never able to do so. She's just too fast. The third loop was the toughest because id just run two loops very hard, and there was a lot of climb. I was clean throughout, though, minus the first leg.
11 AM

Orienteering 55:00 [3]

Never have I been so exhausted on a course. I had no energy and was just craving food. I walked a lot of it just because the woods were soon thick, but I definitely could have ruun more, and faster. (Minus the lack of energy...)
2 PM

Orienteering 58:00 [3]

Red course from '09 minus 2 and 3. This was a great run.... I ran almost perfectly except for number 8 where i lost maybe 2 minutes due to a 90 half way through the leg.... kinda concerning as that definitely shouldnt be happening. The rest of it was great though. I was able to run really hard the whole time and still maintain contact all while using good technique.

Orienteering 45:00 [3]

First trainng out in WI. The Scale was 1:7500 which screwed me up a bit. I didn't have any perfect controls other, there was always something wrong which was quite frustrating. I screwed up the last control too, quite badly. That kinda killed my mood...

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering 45:00 [3]

Cooridor-o. This one I nailed! I had good flow and was reading well. This definitely helped my mood, although i was still too tired to go out for another training.
