Running 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)

Tired from yesterday. Also, had a very interesting dog encounter, and not in a good way. I was running along minding my own business and this guy is out at his car then his dog comes over at me barking. I was like "ok, maybe he's nice," although it wasn't a very nice looking dog. Well the dog kept barking, then when it snarled and really started to come at me, it was game over. I started yelling at it and when it kept coming at me I was like, fannnntastic. It kept snarling and coming at me so I started swinging at it with my arms and kicking at it, all while yelling and moving away. At some point in the whole mixup, the guy, who i'm presuming owned the dog, said something like "Don't worry, he won't hurt you." Oh yeah? I told him "Sorry bro, but I don't trust your dog." He also wasn't making much of an attempt to get his dog, either, as he was just walking after it, not really saying anything. Anyway, the guy eventually gets his dog, and I continued on my run. But I was pretty pissed at the guy. If your dog is causing problems for a stranger, I don't care how nice Fluffy is, you go get your dog and apologize to the person. The "Don't worry, he doesn't bite" line does absolutely nothing to help the situation either, btw.

Note

Pretty sure the total distance adds up to over a half marathon, which is kinda cool. Also, I averaged 7:30 miles for the 13.25 that I did. I did take about 90 seconds rest after my warm up to do a bit of stretching, but other than that, I never stopped.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Running tempo 33:00 [3] 5.25 mi (6:17 / mi)

Felt fantastic. Goal was supposed to be 5:30, but I knew that would be too fast as I was barely doing that during intervals on tuesday. Running 6s, though, felt fantastic. Absolutely great. I was tired, but I felt really really really good.

Running warm up/down 50:00 [3] 6.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

Fanastic cool down. Kept moving right along. Was asked for my number once, but they were in a car and I wasn't exactly thinking fast at the time.

Strength 5:00 [3]

Busy day. Had to sacrifice 45 minutes of rec activity for Aristotle. That guy is dumb and incoherent.

Pretty tough workout. Don't know what it was but I was all over the place.

12x400 w/ 1 min goal was 79-82

average was 83... not so good. I wasn't as tired after the workout, though, as I was last time, which is kinda a good sign, and my first few rests were pretty fast. It wasn't until 5 or 6 when my rests were really slow and I was really trying to catch my breath. not exactly happy with the workout, but not completely dissapointed either.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3]
