Running 27:00 [3] 6.0 km (4:30 / km)

Run before school. I think running into the sun makes me slower.

Ultimate 1:15:00 [2]

Good ultimate game

Note

Running out of usable O-Shoes. Left old (vs. new) integrator is losing it's soul (regular sole too i guess...) which is too bad because of all of them, that one's my favorite.

Orienteering 39:59 [3] 5.38 km (7:26 / km)

Not actual course distance. Really liked this course.

Orienteering (Relay) 46:06 [3] 6.4 km (7:12 / km)

Straight line distance

Orienteering 1:08:52 [3] 7.26 km (9:29 / km)

Distance is the actual, not really sure of the straight line distance. Excelent job by Boris, though. Loved the line-o especially. Feels good to be back in Harriman!

Orienteering (O-Intervals) 35:05 [3] 5.12 km (6:51 / km)

Again, distance is what my watch says, not the straight line.

This training was especially fun. I liked the fast pace especially when Boris was right behind me. Definitely pushed harder than I normally would. Used my compass a lot which helped because it was really hard to read the map at that pace.

Running 40:00 [3] 5.5 mi (7:16 / mi)

didn't feel good, especially near the end so I'm surprised at the pace...

Running 43:00 [3] 5.5 mi (7:49 / mi)

Run at Mud Pond. Lots bikers there today. It was nice because the trails had finally dried out so I wouldn't return covered in mud. I think the interesting point of the day was that all but one biker I saw had a dog with him, granted I only saw three total. One man, though, should only count for half a dog as he had one, but when I saw him the first time he was looking for it. I had passed a dog about 2 minutes back just standing along the side of the trail and when I looped back around it was following another dog/biker couple. When I met the owner, he seemed quite concerned about where his dog was. I pointed behind me and said "That way." a "damn", "thanks" and a "no problem" later we parted ways.

Note

Accepted students day at WPI. loved it. Going there. I think it was the ice cream that did it...
