Orienteering race 41:00 [3] 4.5 km (9:07 / km)

NOY 4 at Pelton. Think i did about 5.3km.
Was relatively happy with my run, just some little errors where i went a little too far to the right or left and was a bit too hesitant on a couple of controls. Didn't feel like i had much at all in my legs from about control 6-10, but then i felt like i could push it a bit more again at the end. Super confused by control 17 though, still can't quite work out what was going on there. Unfortunately i have a bit of a niggle in my ankle, and im not too sure why as i didn't roll it or anything... hopefully it'll be all good tomorrow.

Running long 1:11:46 [3]

Run with the father around Ashtonfield; a mix of streets and trails. There were a fair few tough hills in the loop he took me on and he doesn't seem to slow down at all going up them so that was good for me to try to keep up. Twas a super nice morning too, soooooo glad i got up to do this! I didnt start my watch at the very start though so not sure of actual distance, but it wouldve been just over 12km.
Plus! I came back with blood alll down my leg and i was covered in mud, i even took a photo it looked that gnarly!

Running 30:00 [3]

It was an attempt at terrain intervals at brush creek, however by the time we got to brush creek it was 5pm so dark, and it was pouring rain the entire time. So it was a little pathetic, but i gave it a go. I did 3x 5 min intervals, with 3 minutes between. They weren't as long as planned but it was a bit hopeless and i shortened the rest so it was still relatively tough. Bit of a shame, ill have to go back there at a better time though for this session because even in these conditions it was a good place to go.

Unfortunately twas a little dark already when i got home from school so i did a cycle instead of a run. It was a really tough class! And majority of it was fast stuff which i think's good for me.

Running warm up/down 22:00 [3]

About a 12 min warm up and 10 min warm down.

Running hills 16:00 [3]

2 sets of 5x 20 second hills, jogging back down recovery in between hills and 5 min rest between sets. Legs were feeling pretty jelly by the end! I always feel like a bit of a creeper doing hills in that spot though because i just run back and forth at the back of a heap of houses...

Unfortunately i didnt get time to go to the pool because of work, so i did a relatively cruisy jog around Ashtonfield. Stocktake in a supermarket should definitely not be a thing, i have bruises on my knees from counting stuff on the bottom rows :|
