NOY 1 at Dark Hill. Lost time straight away at 1 trying to get my head into 1:5000. My route to the second also not so good as I tried to get my direction right. The rest of the nav was pretty good but I was being very cautious. Pretty brutal physically with the vegetation, climb and rocks underfoot making it near impossible to run except for a few places. Wasn't feeling the best either after another big night. Legs pretty tired now.

Wednesday night long run at Sugarloaf. Started at Barnsley map and ran through to The Range and under the freeway into Killingworth. Up the downhill track and then up the spur. Had to switch my light on here and was completely dark by the top. A bit sketchy cos I wasn't sure where the track would come out at the top. Along Sugarloaf range and up to the summit where the view was pretty amazing. Really dark and my light not so good so a bit spooky coming down the road. Opted to not die coming the short way back through O'Donnelltown and came back through Seahampton instead. Ran out of energy big time about here though and had a pretty unpleasant time getting back to the car. Really need to eat more in the arvo!!

Tuesday night ints. By myself this week so just went to the grass track behind work. 10 x 400m, 2 min cycle. There was another bloke there doing the exact same session but slightly different recovery so that was kinda awkward. Times not the fastest due to grass and wrong shoe choice but was glad to stay on the 2 min cycle. Time includes small warm up and down but I'm a bit slack with this when i'm by myself and hungry!
