Maitland parkrun. Was still pretty sore from my groin strain or whatever it is that I've done to myself, but I could move around a little better. Also I was wide awake at 7am for once so thought I'd give parkrun a go anyway. Tried to warm it up as best as I could beforehand and that kinda worked although I didn't feel very fast. Start was reasonably good and found that I was on more or less the same splits as last week until halfway. After halfway my groin and hammy got pretty sore and I didn't have the best acceleration out of the corners. Then coming back along the dam wall my legs pretty much said nope and I felt like I had nothing. 10 secs slower than last week and I probably would have lost most of it at the end. Sore afterwards, will stretch more today.

Good win for Macey's Angels this week! Played a full game, C first half and GA second half. Admittedly I struggled with the rules a bit for GA but luckily the opposition GD struggled even more. Think I pulled something in my groin/ upper hamstring though as it was pretty sore as the game went on and very sore afterwards. Changing gears on the way home was not enjoyable. Will stretch it out and see how it goes.

Ints at Glendale. 5 x 1km with a varied recovery. Times weren't too bad, 3:04, 3:06, 2:59, 3:01, 3:06. Felt really good for the first 3, the last 2 were a bit of a struggle. If only I could run those times back to back at parkrun..
