Very very very bad day orienteering. Although it is always better than a plain old hike.

I believe I had my very first 1 hour control (#3/236). However I did finish. I'll have to investigate the track to see how badly I messed up...


Went down the WRONG creek (south instead of east) over and over again.

slight victory - fastest on 2 of the controls near the end.

Fun run (no timing) on golf course - I think I managed to follow the course, but got so far ahead of the next guy that he got lost (he was having trouble finding the markers without his glasses)

Fun to run on a golf course - soft without too much drag.
