Roadie (CorPorate triathalon) 23:40 [4] 13.0 km (1:49 / km)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Brilliant fun leg of a corporate tri. I was hired to raise the profile of the BOIL(c) and there was a lot of pressure to ride really fast, especially when John appeared out of the swim well clear of the pack. Shannan came past 200m into the bike leg so fast that I thought he was a car, and took off into the sunset but I just rode as if it were a 1 km effort, held Bones off until just into the second lap and kept him from getting too much further away on the second. Then played with Edmund while we watched John running FAST like the John of Old, as opposed to Old John, which was great. We got a gift voucher for a jewellers, which i thought might provoke a proposal, but apparently $40 won't cover a ring. Shame, I went to an underwear party on Friday night but I must've bought the wrong ones.

Trek (Twilight to pink lake) 2:00:00 [0] 11.0 km (10:55 / km)

The new walking trail is a 9km return walk but gen and I sort of extended it on the way back, by completely accidentally walking off the wide flat gravel road onto a hilly, sandy trail that ended in someone's farm. We felt a bit silly when we backtracked and worked out where we had messed up.

Roadie (Tired) 1:00:00 [3]

Rode backwards around the tourist loop finishing at twilight where it rained and rained and rained. Felt sorry for the people getting married on the beach! Sheltered in someone's van until John arrived.
4 PM

Run (Pram) 24:00 [3] 4.0 km (6:00 / km)

Didn't time this but it felt very very slow. Two laps of 1km out and back along the new walking trail. Gorgeous scenic run. 1km was uphill on the way out which was pretty tough with the pram but the way back was fun!

Roadie (Group ride) 55:00 [3]

Bonus ride! It was johns turn but he didn't look like someone who was going to wake up or do anything so I went instead. Only three of us and very windy, good pace considering, and I had to pull my weight too so it was quite hard work. Good fun.
10 AM

Strength/Core (Glute exercises) 15:00 [1]

One of Johns overenthusiastic ex phys clients came over for coffee and made me do glute exercises and quad stretches, ew.

Roadie (Group ride) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

The group was slightly sluggish this morning, which was lucky because I was feeling very sluggish, and struggled to keep up. But then apparently we did average just over 30 so it wasnt as sluggish as it felt, considering the massive head wind, so perhaps I'm
A bit fitter than I was a few months ago :-)
5 PM

Run (Quarter pram) 30:00 [2]

Still sluggish, especially when the pram hit the soft sand, so I gave the pram to john until he went to the beach to do intervals and the pram and I went to the park to practise our climbing and sliding.

Roadie (Scenic loop plus) 1:20:00 [3] 38.0 km (2:06 / km)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Bit of a competitive ride with Gen - the fastest either of us have ridden the loop before and with a massive head wind too. Great fun, and makes the rest of the day easier to cope with.

Run 44:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:30 / km)

Connelly Rd loop with Jo. Another perfect still morning, amazing views, lots of happy people exercising, etc. Getting boring, really :-)
