MTB 2:40:00 [3] 30.0 km (5:20 / km)
shoes: Yeti ASR

Rode from Pickering Brook with a bunch of 8 - bit of a stop-start ride especially once Saz got tired. Usual ride to Gunjin, the Dell, then rode the Scorpion trail backwards (bah), blue tag, white tag, back up Gunjin. Neil had a big stack on a flat bit of gravel and got a bit sore. Paul and I rode back the single track way instead of the triathletes' way along all the fire trail and bitumen. I rode at the absolute limit of my cornering skills for 10min keeping up with him, then had a bit of a stack and slowed down a bit. The WNM trail is heaps more fun downhill! Spent some time finding food afterwards but it all ended well.
Fun, and a great sunny day which reminds me summer is coming :-)

Run 53:00 [3] 10.4 km (5:06 / km)
shoes: Metallic blue Asics

Ran from home to the squash courts. A bit sluggish for the first 20min but I warmed up after that and feel infinitely better than yesterday.

Squash 40:00 [3]
shoes: Metallic blue Asics

I won a lot of points today, for a change, but I choked a lot too so didn't win too many games.

Roadie 3:25:00 [3] 87.0 km (2:21 / km)
slept:7.0 shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Fun ride on a great sunny morning with John, Jacko, Dolf and Danger. I am sooo unfit, it is embarrassing. John is not himself at all, and did not smash us all like he normally would. I feel vaguely responsible for giving him the flu. Weary now. Big thanks to Cass for leaving all that food out for us in organised tupperware!

Run 39:00 [3] 6.4 km (6:06 / km)
shoes: fluoro yellow trabucos

Dragged my very heavy legs to the pool and then around the terrain loop. As soon as the gradient turned even slightly uphill i couldn't even move. Great evening though and I really enjoyed the view of the ocean from the top of the hill.

Roadie 1:20:00 intensity: (55:00 @3) + (25:00 @4)
slept:6.0 shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

For the first time in a month I a) felt like riding, b) pretended to be Lance Armstrong and c) got tired legs before my chest got tight. Perhaps I am on the way back! Looking forward to tomorrow morning :-)

Run intervals (2k and 1k TT) 27:05 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (12:05 @5)
shoes: Metallic blue Asics

I got lost on the way from work to running so I missed the warmup.
Did 3.5 short run-throughs, then ran a 2k PB, presumably because I was not all tuckered out from the warmup like usual.

2km 8.05 (4.10/3.55)

I think the second lap is my all-time runner-up PB. I ran a 3.44 once but had to have a long rest afterwards.

Then John made us do a 1km as well. I had given everything I had in the 2k so I was tired, heavy and ran like a brick with a brick tied to it.

1km 3.55

This makes no sense, it was the same speed as the previous bouncy energetic lap.

Roadie 1:00:00 intensity: (40:00 @3) + (20:00 @4)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Solid ride from home to Kings Park, with a figure-8 and enough more to make up the hour.

Run (beach) 25:00 [3]
shoes: Feet

Run intervals 43:00 intensity: (10:00 @2) + (11:30 @3) + (21:30 @4) 8.0 km (5:23 / km)
slept:7.0 shoes: Metallic blue Asics

3x laps of the grass farm

10.44 10.42 11.30

I was late and grumpy and getting tired so the third one i tried to run the ups solidly and the downs easily. Good to see Team Paddy Pallin Shotz at peak physical impressiveness tonight!
