MTBO race (Turner Hill long) 1:50:10 [4] 29.9 km (3:41 / km)
slept:7.0 shoes: Yeti ASR

Thanks Fletch and tRicky for a fun course which made me think, and a map that made sense!
It was a pretty smooth ride except for a couple of slightly suboptimal route choices and two brief stops when I got confused by the map. Until my complete brain explosion on the way to the last control which cost me about 4min (based on John's split). Ah well, it could have been worse :)

Run 45:00 [2]
slept:6.0 shoes: Retro green Asics

Putting out controls, waking up controls and general faffing around. Hooray no more Nav Dash!

Run 40:00 [3]
slept:3.5 shoes: Retro green Asics

Warmup/cooldown plus a stack of run throughs, drills, fast stuff. Good fun and I was shattered to start with but really glad to get outside in the blustery wind and do something.

Trek (Rogaine training) 4:44:00 [3] 34.0 km (8:21 / km)
slept:3.5 shoes: fluoro yellow trabucos

Yay another fun walk/shuffle with Wil. We went from the Bibbulmun terminus in Kalamunda to the Weir. Then we tried to go back the way we came but we must have gotten lost because the first track had not been ankle deep in water.

Enforced and very much resented rest day. No sprint course could ever be good enough to justify so many hours at a computer.

Run 30:00 [2]
slept:7.0 shoes: fluoro yellow trabucos

Checking control sites at Scotch. They were all there.

Commute 25:00 [3] 12.0 km (2:05 / km)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Commute 28:00 [2] 13.0 km (2:09 / km)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Rode home from work via City Beach shops, where I stopped off to tell John I wouldn't be running tonight due to terminal flatness.

Run warm up/down 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Retro green Asics

How did that happen??

Run 31:30 intensity: (10:30 @2) + (21:00 @4)
shoes: Feet

I ran solidly rather than fast, but felt pretty good considering. I like sand. I cunningly ran random and unpredictable loops around random signs and staircases, so noone could tell if I was behind or in front of them. Everyone is running really well now, especially Brian who is super-focussed and now waaay ahead.
