Note

Drove my bike out to Gull Rock in the car and then drove it home again and had a two hour nap. Not with my bike, I left that in the garage.

Run 50:00 [3]

An adjusted version of John's quaranup rd-goode beach loop. Beautiful, beautiful day and I'm glad we live in paradise. Lovely. Oh and I did some running, it was about 7km but the time includes a few stops to look at the map.

Sunny lunchtime exercisey fun with John and John. Typically the warmup was faster than I ever usually run so I spent the rest of the session recovering. Survived the plank only by keeping my bottom as high in the air as possible.
There is a lot of room for improvement in my fitness I think.

Swim 10:00 [3] 0.5 km (20:00 / km)

Quick swim while Edmund was having a lesson and John passed through to play with Ruth for a while. Works well because that is as long as my swimming attention span is anywhere.

Run 45:00 [3] 6.0 km (7:30 / km)

Beautiful hilly, traily, sunny lunchtime run with Toby while Tia watched the kids in exchange for a free music lesson afterwards. This was a great plan, I really hope she wants more music lessons.
Toby is behaving really well too, unless there is a rabbit nearby but who can blame him for that?

Roadie 53:00 [2] 22.0 km (2:25 / km)
shoes: Shiny carbon pro lite

Notable ride for two reasons: 1) I went for a ride and 2) I had an altercation with a crazy horse lady who needed to use me to vent her lifelong frustration at cyclists in general, in particular those who ride along the busy public road which she thinks is a bridle trail. I got told off for not slowing down (I did), for not having a bell (I have a bell), for not talking to her horse (I am not a crazy horse lady), for riding along the road All The Time (it was the third time in two years) and for being just as bad as that other cyclist who snuck up on her before (which was me, five min earlier, when she was 5m off the road and I slowed down and said hi anyway). I think my biggest mistake was stopping to chat.
So anyway it was a beautiful day for a ride, crazy people or not. I am looking forward to riding there again, ringing my bell loudly and shouting "yooooo hoooo" at horses to keep them nice and relaxed.
