Ran from my apartment to the river and then did the Eliot to River St. loop. I tried to use an old heart rate monitor that my dad gave me, but it was giving me fairly random readings that fluctuated wildly and didn't make a whole lot of sense. It was also kind of big and kept trying to slip down, so I had to hold it in place. I gave up on it fairly quickly and just took it off. I'm kind of concerned about my heart rate because when I do check it after running hard, it seems high (even though my resting heart rate is fairly low), so I might look into getting a more reliable heart rate monitor that hopefully isn't ridiculously expensive. Suggestions?
