Orienteering 5:00:00 [2] 13.7 mi (21:54 / mi)

Moreau - woke up & picked up controls, did a few other errands. I still have yet to run an actual course on this map.

Also squeezed in the Trail-O Recreational course. I wasn't given any results, and it's unclear if I'll be able to get them. It was kind of like a round of miniature golf - except one where you never find out if the ball actually went in the hole.

Camp Wakpominee - woke up & picked up controls for sprint course. Triple-checked a few control placements for Sunday's long courses.

Run to work. What a beautiful day. I think I'm past the (short, for me) allergy season.

Running 32:00 [3] 4.2 mi (7:37 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Sequence III

Went to do a track workout at Albany High and a meet was still in progress, at 7:40 pm. This seemed inexplicable until I remembered that there was probably a rain delay earlier. I watched the 4x400 relay and figured people would be in a hurry to clear out, but the teams lingered, so I gave up.

Running 34:25 [3] 4.4 mi (7:49 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Sequence III

Late night. Not ideal, but it was very peaceful. Had an away track meet at Cobleskill-Richmondville that took up the afternoon/evening (why are they even in our league? 50+ miles from most of the other schools)

4x Sweeney loop. The ultra guys call this a 5 mile loop (5.05, even), but I'm just going with what the GPS said. I was going to run a bit more to make it an official 20, but then I got into a discussion of the new bridge (see wwk's log) with a bunch of folks and stiffened up. Either way, my longest training run EVER.

Saw two blues during the run. No way to tell if they were Karner Blues, but I would like to think so.
