Stationary biking 1:16:25 intensity: (34:25 @1) + (30:00 @2) + (12:00 @3) 40.0 km (1:55 / km)

16 km at setting 4
16 km at setting 5
6.4 km at setting 6
1.6 km at setting 4 (cool down)

I haven't been as consistent with my stationary biking as I had hoped for the winter, but it has still had a positive impact. Certainly riding a folding, stationary bike is not the same experience as riding a road bike, but while there are fitness benefits, the greatest boon has been for my mental health. The pandemic has been challenging for everyone, and despite having a fairly stable and comfortable circumstance, I have struggled with my mental health and general well-being. Hopping on my stationary bike for thirty or sixty minutes inordinately improves my state, and I am grateful for this mechanism.

OUSA Board Call

- NAOC 2021 will make a call in April 2021 about whether the event will go forward. A big part of the determination will be whether the Canadian border is open and other travel restrictions. The state of Tokyo Olympics 2021 was concerning to me about the implications for NAOC.

- IOF moved WMOC to the same time as NAOC 2021, which is a bummer. OUSA was not consulting, was not happy about this, and wrote a strongly worded letter at the end of 2020. IOF is waiving the sanctioning fees, though as was pointed out, this probably is a small concession compared to the impact of the scheduling conflict. I wondered how many people typically attend both; certainly travel restrictions might reduce attendance even if there weren't a conflict.

- All clubs should have abuse and misconduct policies and COVID policies. Some clubs should probably have "raging asshole" policies.
