I considered both bowling five games and going for an easy 30-minute run, but I decided I was too swamped to do either. My lower left calf near my ankle has been bothering me lately, and rest is probably prudent. My bowling alley stays open until midnight every day, so I can make up the games later; the $1.70/game I would save on Sunday morning will have to be made up in gains in utility by getting work done today.

I had also hoped to go to Rocky Woods on Saturday 12 March to vet my control locations for the 3 April CSU meet, but priorities demanded my attention elsewhere. I will go to Rocky Woods Saturday 19 March to finalize my courses.

An unpleasant run; my lower left calf started aching. I'm not sure if this is related to the ligament injury from last week, to my fracture, or to the shoes. I listened to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. Conditions were pleasant: 11 C, with an intermittent drizzle, and nearly all of the snow has melted from the high temperatures and recent rain.

I have been troubled of late; many of my activities have been simultaneously stressful. The speed graph reflects the turbulence of my state - I started too fast, lagged in the middle, and finished aggressively. Conditions were pleasant - 12 C, a few hours after a downpour. It was good getting out, but I continue to be frustrated by my limitations.

This evening, I ran a circuitous route to the pool, swam for half an hour before the pool closed, and finished off with a run to Anna's. I swim poorly, but it was a good workout. I swam:
