orienteering (race) 1:09:00 [5] 9.4 km (7:20 / km) +340m 6:13 / km
spiked:14/17c

QOC race,at Little Benett MD,clean race, but lost probably more than 10 min. on the course because of my both outsoles on my shoes coming almost completly off ,just slightly in the second half, and had to expend a lot more energy to keep my foot higher at each step (and lost some of the speed too),and going towards # 1,my dog chased after me and half way towards the control she started to chase after a deer and got lost and I spent ~ 3 min to find her and had to live her there and she found her way back and found her at the finish.I need to buy a pair of orienteering shoes.

running (warm up-down/rest runs) 23:00 [1] 4.0 km (5:45 / km)

running (pyramid,on track) 21:39 [5] 6.4 km (3:23 / km)

My 3 rd. or 4 th. training/run on track in the last 10 years or so.400 m.-1.17" ; 800 m.-2.48" ; 1,200 m.-4.20" ; 1,600 m.-5.58" ; 1,200 m.-4.23" ; 800 m.-2.55" ; 400 m-1.18". Did 1.15"x 6x200 m recovery runs in between. I will have, to come back, more often,so I will have ,a more accurate idea, of my speed and progress.

Note

We were supposed to run a road race today in the York winter series(5 M. hilly),wich I was psyched for,but it was postponded, due to a drizzle mix (ice/rain),so went to a nearby high school on the track and did a interval training.
