Training Log Archive: z-man

Goats headed to Blue Mnt. today and I re-run the middle TT course. It was raining, but the temps were ~70. Greg, Vadim, and Nadia headed out earlier and hanged the streamers. Didn't have good legs today, and walked some of the steepest uphills which I ran up a month ago at TT. Had an error on #8 (1min), otherwise wasn't bad.
Met a member of parliament from Bangladesh today. As everyone headed out into the woods, I was putting up a tent over tables and was the only person in the entire resting area in the park under the driving rain. All of a sudden, cars and buses started to pour into the parking with Indian music blasting from all over. Over a thousand people came within an hour and I was the only white dude hanging around in the parking lot. Was approached by a white bearded and well dressed guy. He asked me where I was from and gave me his card, which read a member of parliament, and invited me over to their picnic. When goats eventually got back from the woods, the look on their faces was priceless :)
