White Clay Creek - DVOA race (real distance 5.75, 240m)

Just back on my feet after a week of stomach and chest cold/flu, and really felt weak and tired. I've barely been eating anything, and just yesterday finally had a full day of food (although light). Beaten by THREE seconds by one guy. Wow!

Great red course. Ralph really kept me thinking, which is what I needed since I couldn't push myself physically very well. Nice job!

It really feels nice to not be constantly cringing with moderate stomach pain, and running to the bathroom every 20-40 minutes. *pleasant sigh* I still have an ugly, deep, grumbly cough, but it's fading.

Jenny hurt her ankle, Angelica hurt (badly) her eye ... rats! My competition is down for the count. I'm sure they'll make a comeback though. Ranking is now IN EFFECT, and I'm in FOURTH place for the moment. Just remember that. For a moment I was in fourth place.

Note
(sick)

Lingering, moderately painful stomach bug, that will turn into a terrible cough and stuffed up nose soon. June's almost done with her bout. Yuk! Took my first sick day in a long time.

Note

Wow! Biathlon Orienteering?!? I shoulda been a Dane. :)
