Orienteering 1:20:00 [2]

Fort Hill, streamering and checking locations for Thursday. Map is pretty much out of date, lots of green patches showing up in the fields and some new trails have appeared.

Since the exercise is a "white out around the control" type, some map deficiencies may go unnoticed.

Rochester Map Adventure

Sunny, 75F or so, slight breeze

Headed roughly NE from start, up through Corn Hill, then a big loop around the outside of the course back to Cobbs Hill, then around Park and Monroe, down to Highland, then another loop up through the South Wedge before finishing at Mt. Hope and UR, but couldn't get back before the time deadline

Not enough planning, and too much doubling back into the S Wedge & Swillburg areas to get controls I should have picked up when I was there the first time. Got way bogged down in Cobbs Hill in particular. Still a fun ride. Distance is a rough guess.

75F, sunny, SEish breeze

First ride on the new wheels - Ultegra hubs laced to Dyad rims. Not very fast but rolled well.
