Orienteering race 12:43 [5]

Big Foot Sprints. Navigated fine but got beaten by Barb Hill in Heat, with Stix ahead and Lisa Grant just behind.

Orienteering race 11:46 [5]

Chasing start final. Caught Barb, then Stix. Lisa & Michael Free caught me. Stix then Lisa pull ahead around 3rd and 4th last control, though run out of second last control in wrong direction. I get there just before others, then bash into Michael Free and have to restart my sprint to the finish. Stix gets there first, then me, then Lisa, though Stix knocks over finish control and the three of us are scrambling on the ground to get our SI sticks in!

Running race 27:25 [5] 6.0 km (4:34 / km)

Ran Corporate Cup. Last one of the series and I'd only managed 2 of the 6 races because I'd been at workshops in Lidcombe or OS for the others. Didn't go flat out, but didn't slack too much. Trying to concentrate on style and breathing through the belly, since you should for your general health apparently and also my chest hurts at the moment when I breath too deeply.

Was talking to Shep at Searlo's party. He had symptoms of sore upper back and chest once and it turned out he had injured his neck and he only felt pain in his neck once his chest and back stopped hurting.

Note

Have had a crappy back from carrying kids. Think a short bushwalk I did on Monday last week with Kari on my back tipped me over the edge. Took him for a walk from Riverside Park while the other 2 were in their swimming lesson Have had sore chest and upper back, especially when lying in bed tonight. Doesn't effect running too much, except from being knackered from not enough sleep.

Gave accupressure a go today. Seems to have helped. Have a range of supplements recommended, so I am less "depleted".
