Row 1:18:00 [3]

D: 3[(8+8)/4]
SR: 20/22
HR: 138 - 148
Got out just as the thunderstorms cleared and had nice water and relatively low temps (71). Power through the workout with good speed and technique, and my HR stayed reasonable. I wish I felt fresher though.

Run 30:00 [3]

Outside in the evening with a map. Ugga-bugga, grade 2.

Erg 1:20:00 [3]

D: 2[(15+10)/5]
SR: 20/22 at 2:01ish/1:57ish for the first set and about +3s on the second.
Stupid wind. It is supposed to start easing off tomorrow and be good the rest of the week. Decent work on the erg. My back is achy though.

Run 1:30:00 [3]

Have to keep up the time on my feet. Was running by 6:40 and benefited from cloud cover the whole time. Kept shuffling along ok with various stretching breaks and a short conversation with George. Right calf tightened up a bit during the day; need to keep an eye on it.

Bike 53:00 [3]

Easy spin to in the late afternoon to loosen up my legs... hopefully.

Row 1:10:00 [3]

B: 5 x 500m
SR: 30-32
Went over to Ft. Worth RC to row the double with Pat McDonough. We experimented a bit and decided on me in stroke and him bow. In doing so we did 5 hard 500m pieces. I actually felt a little better as time went on but still not all there.

It turned out good that I was in Ft. Worth with their protected water. It is very windy and rowing on White Rock would have been a pain in the butt.

ps: At 5:45 in the morning it only took about 45 min from my house to FWRC.
4 PM

Run 30:00 [3]

East on TM at LAF with map. Feel ok.

Lift 30:00 [3]

After running. Pretty good workout.
