Gave and graded an exam today. The students did great - such a pleasure to teach an elective to majors!

Note

I was feeling despondent about not going to the team trials but in retrospect, the rain and the steepness and the long plane flights would probably not have been the best for my knees.

Unfortunately, my schedule is such that I won't be doing any more regular orienteering before Scotland - all DVOA events except the one I'm course setting conflict with other commitments. Bummer.

Spent a lot of time not doing the things that needed doing and finally mowed the lawn, weeded a bit and then went for a hike in the Wiss.

Horrible week at work trying to get things done and having to stay late last night and tonight and knowing I have to be in early tomorrow for a Board of Trustees appearance and then ataying late for a PME talk tomorrow night. Feel like I'm going backwards in terms of training...

TNT - walked down with Scott (my son) and Sandy A and then ran 3 miles on the drive with Scott and then walked back up. I told him I'd probably be about 10:30 pace which was fine with him. Miles were 10:31, 9:58 (yeah, yeah, it's a little short), 10:22.
