Hike thru new VT state park with friends from NJ. Interesting trails including one thru nice Japanese gardens.

MRI of L hamstring this morning. Got radiology report within an hour (nice service!) due to impending races in California starting next week.

Results not positive, indicating a high grade partial tear of most of the tendon. Will start discussing with ortho staff next week.

Still planning on doing the races, but will skip the hard sprints, jumping and generally stay away from burpees. Backpacking was fine with the support of hiking poles.

Samantha is a strong hiker and bounced right along with her 30# pack.

Backpacking Spruce Peak to Stratton Pond. Another good day with a swim once we got in camp. Camping at the far side of Stratton Pond.
Tried making French toast with bagels this morning and that just made a mess with the stove. But did apple biscuits for dinner rigging up a double boiler and those were excellent.
Over Stratton tomorrow and out.
