Back to VT to snow flurries and first really chilly weather. Weed whacked edges of trails with saw blade and took out small saplings, too. Then back with brush hog for final cut of the year, up across the top trail for the first time.

Up from the east to the Long Trail with Dennis and Louise. Rain started on the way up and got pretty chilly. Stopped in the Montclair Glen cabin for lunch and decided to skip the summit. Leaves very pretty in the subtle light.

Felt good after the weekend and ran this pretty hard. Two long climbs followed by sections you can cut loose. Almost all on dirt roads or abandoned class 4 roads.

Continue to reduce the time on this route, almost by 15 minutes this time. Nearly hit my goal of 1:30. Will have to rethink target, maybe to around 80 min.
