O - competition race (Sage Rogaine) 3:30:00 [3] 7.0 km (30:00 / km)

Start of rogaine near Kamloops BC. Three controls and then slipped on a wet rock going downhill and ripped my L quad above the knee. Decided after a few test steps it was seriously shot and could not bear any lifting load.

Dropped down a steep hillside on my butt and then dragged myself back to the hash house with lots of help from Glen.

Booked an early flight Sunday back to Montreal and then a fun drive home. See doc on Monday and then recuperation time.

Good effort on Chester loop, moderate pace. Legs felt okay and did not push too much coming back up the hills.

Cummings and then to the top of the highway and cut in up neighbor's access track. Then along new trail route until I caught up with the excavator perched well up the hillside. Looks like he made it past the ledge and now has a good run to the crest.
