Easter prologue
Pretty disappointed to be honest, just didn't feel right at the start and never got in a rhythm. Also stuffed up the bush controls - was rushing too much and not looking at my compass. Felt good warming up but legs felt crappy during the race.
This is a pretty negative write up haha...on the plus side I think my pre-race mentality has improved a lot and I feel like im enjoying it more and not feeling as much self-pressure as I used to. Small steps!

Easy run with 6 x ~30sec hard before breaky. Felt pretty good! hoorah!

Did some 20/40s along the river. Felt pretty crappy - dammit!!! Legs better be feeling better on friday (and for the rest of the weekend!)

Some stretching and dynamic stuff to try and loosen the legs.
Elbow still being a bum so was hard to do some exercises.

Was meant to run today, but might just swap it with tomorrow as I'm feeling tired and kind of weird...have been learning about cancer and disease a lot at uni, and two nights in a row I've had really vivid dreams that I've got cancer :S frightening!

Event at Lady Alice/Para Wirra. First few controls were good then bleeuggghhhh I suddenly got sooo tired, I could hardly keep myself going! Made two big mistakes in a row (from lack of concentration) then had a second wind when the course started going downhill and felt a little better after that.
So very sloppy navigation and felt like death running, not the most ideal kind of run to have just before Easter but ohhh well!

Did Mona fartlek along the river. Actually felt quite good! Dunno where this is coming from this week...won't last till Easter though I'm sure. Tried to make the rests a bit faster than normal, which is think is the idea of this session? Anyway, was stuffed after.
Elbow still giving me a bit of grief. Blah.
