Promo event on Hobbit Woods, after the Akl Schools Champs. After last weeks debacle i was concentrating on trying to navigate cleanly. Going OK, but not 100% in the zone... passed Jourdan near the circle at 6, then at 7 caught RobJ (here on holiday), Thought I might get a tow off RobJ but found I was in front of him most of the time. We caught Lawson at 11, he took off at 100mile and hour so I went with, managed to hang on until 17 where I fukd up, then finished in untidy fashion. Happy with my run though. Pleased to have been tidy-ish through the first half, then to be able to go up a gear and still navigate OK in the second half.

Note

Spent the day planting trees on Motuihe Is. Not exactly training, but not sitting on my arse either. Was fully tired at the end of the day.
