Wheee! Long, beautiful classic ski! Fresh snow from day before, gleaming white, pretty mountains + trees. And last weekend's kick wax worked pretty perfectly, so my second classic ski not on fishscales this year!

XC skiing 54:17 [2] 8.06 mi (6:44 / mi) +241m 6:10 / mi

Snack time with T+S in the cabin, then let T ski for a bit and took S out to ski. We were having fun scooting, then Tom came out to take over and I got another long ski in. Tom reports soon after I left that she said "I ski fast like mama" and did a really fast shuffle-scoot.

When I came back, S was tromping sans skis in deepish-snow surrounded by other kiddos having snow-fun. Awesome.

T+S went down for a nap, so I snuck out for a run! Intervals: 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1. Calf tight at the end.

At least one round of squats. S miserable upon return, she really doesn't like waking up to no mama around.

Snuck in a run at the end of the workday. So that's 3/5 workdays I managed a workout this week, better than 2/5 last week, but it is not easy to find the time these days!!

Daycare run in the 39 degree fog.

And sans stroller. Later start this morning. Didn't make it in before 9am, so parking lot was full. But making a breakfast burrito at home was worth it...

Road rash is healing, but painful and pretty bruised.

Still sore from Sunday's race, but getting better. Sylvia jogged with me for the first 200m or so too. Chilly one.

Roads were dry again, so headed out for a rxc and promptly crashed on a downhill trying to check speed. Notable but not terrible road rash. Yay for nonstick gauze pads!
