Ontario long. Switched from M21 to M45, which meant 4km less. A necessary move although at some point halfway through the race the thought that I could probably have done the M21 was there but yet again, hamstrings tightened up towards the end and just over an hour race was definitely enough. Both nav and body felt better today, the latter was a bit surprising but I took it. Did two 1-minute errors and drifted once or twice but overall a good technical race and I had that nice feeling of flow, that you want, for most part.

Sprint at the Arboretum. Lots of running. Made one mistake, for a sprint it iwas probably a major, 20-30s. Legs sore from the morning and I could only do a minimal warm up, trying to save as much as possible for the race. Would like to have seen some more direction changes and use of the intricate vegetation in some places. A spectator control outside the panorama window would have been cool too but perhaps organizers were limited to certain areas.

Middle - Ontario Champs. Great to be back in this area again. Not any of my best efforts, actually probably the worst of the year. Short of breath early on and the head wasn't really in to it either. Early mistakes on 2 and 5, super sloppy to 6 and that was kind of how it rolled. Legs held it together reasonably although hammies tightened up at the end.

Kind of last minute decision to run the X league at Chedoke. Farsta format. Managed to drop a minute on one control. Legs tired running home...

Today it was my paid Phyio's job to help me suffer less. It was all about the left hamstring today again, just like Monday's massage.
