running 10:00 [2]

Jogging to warm up. Kind of chilly.

Long M50 green course. Fun. I didn't move well, but I was steady. I walked the hills. I will need more analysis but my initial guess is I did 2 bad route choices. The controls were all clean.

My right leg wasn't normal, but didn't get worse.

My course didn't go through the cave/natural bridge. That was a bit disappointing.

Warm up jog.

Sprint orienteering at Moorehead State campus. Fun course with lots of controls. I almost got trapped by an uncrossable wall under the line between two controls but a quick second look saved me from that.

Near the end I did something to my right leg - hope it'll be ok for the rest of the weekend.

cycling 55:00 [1]

Work commute plus a bit (related to the cleaner locking us out of our house).

Busy evening with laundry, cooking dinner and packing.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute.

I listened to a strange podcast at my desk today:

I've been listening to a few sound-art recordings/podcasts. They can be really interesting. They can also be kind of strange.

rowing 20:00 [1]

Row, row.

Note

I also discovered that yesterday was the 30th anniversary of one of my all time favorite movies:

running 20:00 [2]

Putting out the last few markers at Woodridge.

orienteering race 51:39 [4] *** 5.5 km (9:23 / km)

Red course that Gene set at Woodridge. This was physically pretty tough (my watch showed 183 meters of climb). It didn't help that I slept poorly last night and the weather was warm and sunny. It also didn't help that I didn't seem to have motivation to push.

running 40:00 [2]

Picking up controls. I was tired. I was slow.

I made it back in time to get home soon after the basketball game (KU-WSU) started. Not shocked (pun intentional) that KU lost, but shocked that they were so far out of it.
