Teering race (Oz 3 Days) 14:29 intensity: (11 @0) + (8 @1) + (7 @2) + (1:34 @3) + (9:21 @4) + (3:08 @5) **** 2.34 km (6:12 / km) +41m 5:42 / km

Charles Sturt University, Wagga Okm1.8, 45m, M60, 1st. A bit lucky to get the win overall as Mel made 3 bad mistakes and I got back the 3 minutes I needed. Good effort today, not that quick but only 2 small errors, one in the granite at 2 (-15s) and one on the trick overhead bridge (-10s).
I'm going to tick the hamstring injury off - it didn't snap in the ridiculous sprint finish with the Hoggster. It is still a little dodgy but no restriction running.
The TFL was sore before and after. but didn't notice it during.

Burngoogee, Okm 5.0, 170m. Better effort and scraped home by 26 seconds. But the damage was done yesterday and its most unlikely I can make up 3 minutes in a sprint race. Lost 1 minute at 6, overshooting to a bigger gully than the flag was in. Like yesterday I got very close on the first attempt - 5m (10m yesterday). Also lost 20-30 seconds at 9, wrong side of knoll.

Teering race (Oz 3 Days) 47:02 intensity: (8 @0) + (17 @1) + (10 @2) + (7:53 @3) + (36:09 @4) + (2:25 @5) 5.59 km (8:25 / km) +147m 7:26 / km

Connorton, M60, Okm 4.0, 185m. This would have to go down as one of the worst performances I have ever managed to achieve. To spike the first 12, get a lead of 3:30 over the field and then just throw it away on the last difficult control, losing 9:30 and finish 6th... And two more frustrations - this was a brilliant event, just the terrain and technical challenge I go orienteering for: PLUS I've been injured and limping all week and the physio/exercise worked and I was able to run today. For nothing.

(injured)

TFL exercises. Getting better; walking without a limp but still in pain. I really didn't need another completely new injury this week.

Water Running 20:00 [3] 0.3 km (1:06:40 / km)

TFL not sore in the water. Still a problem walking. Did the stretches required.
