Chucking rain and 4C out but a work colleague and I attacked the Veyrier none the less. At around 900m, the rain turned to snow and at the top, it was 10cm of snow on the ground. The descent was tough as the ground was so wet but luckily, no spectacular bails.
To the top the Parmelan and back down in what started out as wet conditions but the rain held off long enough to make it pretty nice running weather. For the 5th time in a row, I wasn't able to see more than 50m once atop the Parmelan...what is the deal? Seb had a beauty bail on the way back down complete with roll out through the mud.
