10 AM

Running 2:00:00 [1] 15.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Steady run from home. Went out to meet Tom and Andy in Oughtibridge but missed them. Rather than stick to the Transpenine trail I headed over to Greno. They had felled two massive chunks. It started snowing and I got pretty cold, that combined with a curry tummy from last night meant I was pleased to get the run finished. Chest felt pretty clear today which was pleasing.

Running 1:30:00 [3] 10.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Steady run with John and Tom - Win, then Lose, then Win again. Met a marshal on the top of Win hill who was helping with the High peak. He had been out there since 18.00 the night before - now there is dedication.

Running 48:00 [1] 6.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Easy run to Hallamshire to speak to Tom and then out and around Beeley. Chest tight and coughing lots up.

Run after work. Feeling better but not perfect.

Note

Definitely on the mend. The decision not to run home was borderline laziness however it was nice to bump into Craig and Jenny on the way home. Will do some light running tomorrow. Hopefully will be able to do a session by the weekend.

Note

Had arranged to go for a light jaunt with Andy but woke up with a cracking sore throat so decided to give it a miss. The problem with this is that I still had to get up in order to tell Andy that I was not running - thought it would be rude simply to ignore the knock on the door. Felt better during the day but decided not to go running.
