Was weirdly looking forward to track this week. The last time I ran here my calf went so it was about 3 months since I last took to the tartan. Session was 3 x 1 mile with 3 minutes recovery and then 4 x 400m with 100m jog recovery. First mile felt a long way and I nicely blooded my lungs. Held it together for the rest of the session. Was not too far off 5k pace - 4.52, 4.48, 4.52 and laps in around 69 (watch would not lap properly). Lonely session with just me and Pete duking it out.
