Orienteering 40:00 [4] 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

First leg on Tankersley. Great little course. Went from hero to zero during the course of 2 controls (unfortunately the first 2). Clunked my way through the course - enjoyed trying to meet the technical challenges of the course.

Various hanging and running around. Funny to see the arena come alive from nothing over the course of the day.

Orienteering 1:50:00 [3] 15.0 mi (7:20 / mi)

Test running the Elite course. Really enjoyed myself (again). Was steady throughout but was pretty annoyed that the only main mistakes I made were on the controls I had hung the day before. On these I just ran towards the circle thinking that I would remember what it looked like - dumb ass.

Run to Wharncliffe. Threw in 3 x 1 mile (along Beeley and then up into Wharncliffe).

Hanging and running around Wharncliffe. Was out for over over 3.5 in total. Really enjoyed myself (but don't tell anyone because I was pretending it was hard work).

Plan was to do some more Kenyan hills but was still feeling a bit under the weather still. Decided to take a day off. Mood improved as soon as I decided to take it easy.
