Little Stretton to Stiperstones race. Was not feeling on top form but compounded my lack of fitness with poor route choice resulting in my slowest time ever (by about 6 minutes!). On the plus side it was gorgeous on the hills; brilliantly blue sky and snow dusted peaks.

Steady run on the long mynd. Not much snow which was dissapointing but it was nice and clear. Pretty much had the run of the hills to myself.

run to gym and then on to the Uni.

Running 1:11:00 intensity: (56:00 @2) + (15:00 @5) 12.0 mi (5:55 / mi)

Run to HH and then to Pentagon. 2x (2x lap, 1x lap) with 1 min recovery. Did some running after with Thom and Andy. Bit spacey by the end.

Run to track "the long way" with Paul. Kept him waiting despite my best efforts. Running home "the short way" with Paul which was longer than my usual route - but this was partially mitigated by the company.

Got home, to no kitchen or sink. Takeaway to the rescue.

Track - 6 x (600, 100 recov, 400, 200 recov). Felt ok but it took a while to settle into the rhythm. Swept along on Dave and Tom's coattails.

Run to EIS for drills. Pace increased once Danger caught me.
