Warm and down with the "boys"

Running race 32:20 [5] 10.0 km (3:14 / km)

Birchwood 10k. Mediocre performance. Felt I ran a pretty good race and worked pretty hard - unfortunately I am just missing the extra gear. A bit frustrating and but not surprising. Going to use this as a signal to start to think about the OMM and move away from doing any more road racing for a bit.

Leg spinner - took me all day to motivate myself to get out the door. Legs felt ok - through in 5 x 100m strides.

Track session with Dave A. In theory 4 x ( 400m@5k pace, 1 min recov, 1200m@10k pace, 1 min recov, 400m@5k pace) 2.30 (400m) jog between sets. Went ok - pushed on maybe a bit harder than should have done but it was hard not to chase Dave (and share the pace). Good fun.
