Steady run up Dam Flask and back. Gorgeous evening. Had one of those smug "how lucky I was to live in Sheffield" moments running around the track on the edge of the reservoir.

Warm up lap on my own. Warm down with Mike and Dave. Legs felt nice and loose on the warm up.

Running race 27:12 [5] 5.38 mi (5:03 / mi)

National Road Relays. Ran leg 5. Was really pleased with this. Managed to be first HH runner and run a good time for the leg. It worked out as a quite a big PB (I ran 28.02 last year which was also a pb) and I ran this last time the week before London as well. Team did well with a 19th place overall (1 place improvement from last year). Girls outclassed us again to take 4th spot. Nice day to be out in the park.

3 x 1600m @~5k pace with 3 minutes recovery. I was convinced this would be an easy session but I struggled with the additional pace. Did them in 4.55s and it was windy but even so I had visions of 4.50 being a doddle.

Various drills. We got kicked of the Malin Bridge Sports and Social club by the chairman so we had to relocate to Myers Grove. I spoke to the chairman later and he calmed down and invited us back to train on another day.
