Leg loosener around my parents. Followed the same loop as normal. Roads were really icy still and most of the run was spent jumping between ice patches. Felt ok but not brilliant - trying to ignore a head cold.
Christmas Day. Went for a steady run up to Loxley Woods, down to the Fisheries up into Dungworth, Stannington and then back down Rivelin. Views were stunning.
Clare had food poisoning which put a different slant on Christmas day - felt very sorry for her.
Early morning run up to the Fisheries and back. Big dump of snow last night and I was the first one up Loxley Valley. The ducks all looked a bit cold and perturbed by the snow and frost.
RTW - along the Riv valley (nice and snowy), up to the golf course (loads of untouched snow) and then down Crimicar lane to the parks and into work. Very steady - was a bit stiff from yesterday - but enjoyable all the same.
Lunchtime run to check out the parks. All looked really nice in the snow.

Run to track with heavy pack then back to Mike's after via the Fat Cat. Two pints of winter warmer did wonders and made the last mile back to Mike's a breeze. We stopped at the fastest cash machine in Sheffield - FACT (well according to Mike anyway).

Track was full of ice so we did the session running around the inside on the snow. Good session and was pushed along nicely by Jo G.
Very slow run into work via various houses to drop off cards. Legs felt really good. Saw two near misses where people clearly work out that you can't brake suddenly on ice / snow.
