Warm up and down.

Running tempo 33:18 [4] 10.0 km (3:20 / km)

Pig headily (some might say stupidly) ran the Abbey Dash. Took it as a tempo rather than flat out. Got beaten by a women. Didn't like it. Will only do 10ks when racing them from now on.

Orienteering 50:00 [4] 7.0 mi (7:09 / mi)

2 x sprint races.

Race 1. Really good fun. Felt good before prologue but still full of cold. Missed the control at the bottom of Eccie road - muppet. Rest was ok. Felt a bit crap afterwards but definitely wanted to do the next race.

Race 2. Got to control 3 and realised I had not cleared so was not going to get a result so cruised round. Still had lots of fun. Great to have so many people come up and enjoy a race round Sheffield.

Steady early morning run round Beeley, then home, then to work. Wet.

RTT and then run home again (with Rich and Mike). Managed to keep going, but it was tough.

Running 23:00 [5] 4.0 mi (5:45 / mi)

4 x 1600 with 1 min recovery. Blustery and wet but was pleased to churn them out at 4.56, 4.55, 4.54, 4.57. Ran with a mystery guy for most (who kicked me on the last one) - not sure who he is.

Run home from gym - felt really bouncy. Not sure why.

Session at the gym. It was choca and not much fun. Got increasingly annoyed by people who spent more time sitting on the equipment staring into space, playing with their ipods, texting than actually doing exercise.
