Running race 1:01:50 [5] 8.7 mi (7:06 / mi)

Little Stretton to Stiperstones fell race. Point to point race which is organised by Clare's dad. I have done it for the last 4 years and this was a par time - pb set in 2006 of 58.42. Managed to beat the Davies brothers but beaten by Richard Roberts (Eryri) - the current Welsh Fell Running champion. Lovely day on the fells.

Recce of the start of the Fell race. Misty and cold at the bottom, but it was gorgeous on the tops of the fells. All the hills popping out of the mist looked lovely.

Run to gym and then afterwards with OJ. Freezing cold and slippy. Very pleasant.

Gym session with OJ (but no Candyman). We were ruthlessly efficient and knocked out a solid session.

Run to Hallamshire session and then home again. Tired on the way home. Spent the rest of the evening on the sofa.

4 x 1.25km figure of eight loop in 4 and a bit with roughly equal recovery while partner ran the loop.

Run to track and then home again (dreaming of playing cops and robbers).

Camel says: 2 pyramids of 100, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 400, 300, 250, 200, 100 with 50metre jog in between each run and 100m inbetween the two pyramids.
