12.50pm: Carol just bought new Trek carbon fiber road bike, so we cycled out west river drive to Falls Bridge and back to enable her to get used to gear changing and clip in pedals. Fun short ride, but getting hot.

Dragon Boat Racing 1:05:00 [3] 5.2 mi (12:30 / mi)
ahr:92 max:149 rhr:52

7.00pm: Beautiful evening and not humid. John Breem was coach for the session and we had one of our best sessions ever. We worked on ‘ratio’ and catching the water on the stroke just at the right time. Amazing difference, we were much higher in the water and felt we were smoother and surfing the water, even in a headwind. Great session.

6.15pm: DVOA Sprint series - Norristown State Hospital- Course 2
Fun course, certainly needed to think about traps in a couple of places. Would have helped a bit having the magnifier compass as had to stop to read map detail in a couple of places. Nice course planned by Sandy.

6.40pm: DVOA Sprint Series - Norristown State Hospital- Course 1
Easier course, but still fun. Good to give the navigational brain some exercise.
