big foot sprunt "qualifier". good practice for orienteering early in the morning and qual races, two things i need to improve. felt sick in the tummy (probably from eating too much lentil curry yesty) but had good speed and only had one bad route choice.
got myself into the hotseat for the chasing start, 20sec ahead of ezy who wasnt far ahead of Josh "jeg vill har mer daim" Blatchford.

sprunt final. was sketching out early on the first few controls and definately lost time there but settled down into the nice set of technical controls despite missing some quick routes. saw ezy leaving a control so fanged it across the open and was knackerd into the finish.
really enjoyed this event. a good mix of club event, high pressure training and O-intervals. have lots to work on but hey its the off season, all orienteering is recreational until after xmas 5.
