Unseasonably warm late October Fall season day, with county park full of people, on foot, on bicycles, on boats, on picnic. Just a minority of the average demographic are the fools looking for flags in the woods, running while holding a paper map with their hand. Lots of running along paved roads and on trail. On Red course, control 6 and 7 felt off
its intended position. Finished at 3:31 PM and 47 seconds, about 2 minutes over the meet closing time. Saw Yaki at control 12. Saw Jim Trautman at control 1. Dave Battista caught up with me at 6, 7, 8, 9. Jonathan Boyer from NEOOC also reported that the flags for controls 6 and 7 were positioned at lower altitude. After the run, use a bicycle to pedal around the lake, and a kayak to paddle on the lake. route
Run, Bike, Paddle.
Full throttle day.
