Walking 42:32 [1] 1.65 mi (25:47 / mi) +230ft 22:47 / mi
shoes: Saucony Cohesion

After the start of the Rochester Map Adventure, I took a walk over to Mt. Hope Cemetery to hopefully get some pictures of some of the participants. I got some shots of PG and arthurd (both determining what the Maruggi's favorite type of wine was) and a few other people, plus a lot of other pictures (not of people) from the cemetery.

Then a lot of sitting around at the finish, with a number of trips back and forth between the start/finish area and the community center building for various purposes.

I was impressed that quite a few bikers got all 82 controls, and particular congratulations to arthurd for getting them faster than anyone else!

Also impressive, of course, was PG demolishing all of the other foot competitors by getting 78 controls, comfortably ahead of 2nd place.

Walking (Dog walk) 1:30:00 [1] 3.5 mi (25:43 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Cohesion

Urban walk with Homer (very urban), mainly to peruse the Spiderman situation. I didn't see any action but I saw lots of non-native vehicles staged ready for action (NYPD cars, NYC taxis, NYC buses, etc.), and lots of RPD police keeping spectators like me out of areas we shouldn't be in, and lots of crew from the filming, mainly waiting around).

Late-afternoon walk with Homer over to Finn Park and back, with a nice stop at the creek so he could wade for a few minutes.
