Got away from my Mom’s house for a few hours to run in the Quantico meet at Patapsco State Park. As I was starting snow began to fall. Large puffy flakes filled the air during the course. Quite lovely as the forest became white.

Made a big error on control 7. Came over a flattish spur and picked out the wrong reentrant. About an 8 minute mistake. Another 2 minute mistake on 4. A few bobbles on some others. Need more practice on this terrain. Walked most of the way.

Back in Maryland to help take care of my mom. Last weekend she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has 1-3 months to live. I will be here indefinitely. Maybe can catch some Quantico meets. There is one this Sunday at Patapsco SP.

Did three laps of walking around the neighborhood in Kingsville.
