Note

Nice day as tourists at Lake Tahoe. Hiked up to State Line Fire Lookout for glorious views, then stopped at Sandy Harbor state park to enjoy the water.

A little bit of exercise before traveling to Reno for the Classic champs. Wonder when this format will finally end? Seems to be dying a slow death....

Haven't done sprint drills in a long time, and it showed. I tried to sprint 200 meters, and I couldn't do it for even one rep without losing form. I managed 5 reps, but each one was shorter (time and distance) than the previous. I either need more practice or more rest between reps. It was fun, however, to run to the beat of drums (The band was starting to practice.)

Beautiful day for the PTOC sprint, and they had a great urn out today.
I was definitely a bit rusty in my decision making. Had to pause at almost every control, and had a few bobbles on route execution especially going to 4,5 and 14.
